W̱SÍ,ḴEM (Tseycum)

W̱SÍ,ḴEM means “land of clay” in the SENĆOŦEN language. W̱SÍ,ḴEM is one of the four village sites of Southern Vancouver Island and is located on the northwest side of the Saanich Peninsula next to what is known as Patricia Bay. It has approximately 200 members.
